High school football 2026: Lausanne hoping extra plays lead to extra success

This isn’t exactly the hard-hitting news you read the Daily Memphian for. But a play or two here and there can have a significant impact on a high school football season.

Case in point: The 2025 Lausanne Lynx, who compiled an 8-4 record while playing one of the most rugged non-league schedules in the state.

“We were one play away from beating Germantown,” said head coach Kevin Locastro, who is heading into his 14th season at Lausanne.
