Seth Henigan record watch: Tracking statistical milestones
Quarterback Seth Henigan has broken several program and conference records in his four-year career.
He just passed former East Carolina quarterback Holton Ahlers for the most career passing yards and completions in the American Athletic Conference during last Thursday’s 34-24 win at Tulane. Those records are now added to an extensive list of program and conference records Henigan holds.
With one game remaining in his college career, the Tigers’ winningest quarterback in program history still has one more conference record he can reach. Henigan is two touchdowns shy of tying former Houston quarterback Clayton Tune’s AAC record of 104 career passing touchdowns. He already owns the program record.
The Tigers (10-2) will play West Virginia (6-6) in the Scooter’s Coffee Frisco Bowl at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas (8 p.m., ESPN). Henigan has a solid chance at breaking one more record on his way out.
The Daily Memphian has tracked Henigan’s progress toward different statistical milestones each week.
