Once again this season, The Daily Memphian is recognizing a high school football player of the week.

And we need you — our readers — to help.

Each Monday, we post several of the top performers from the previous week’s games. Readers can vote for their favorite through Thursday, Oct. 29, at 5 p.m., when we’ll announce the winner.

Here are the Week 10 candidates.

Cordarius Bobo, Oakhaven: Teammate Jakavios Brown was also outstanding in the Hawks’ victory over Manassas. But we’ll go with Bobo because of his versatility; the sophomore quarterback carried the ball 17 times for 244 yards and two touchdowns (4, 34) while also intercepting a pass and recovering a fumble in Oakhaven’s 42-20 victory.

Ezra Caswell, CBHS: Better than Ezra? Not many people were last week. The sophomore caught seven passes for 147 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Brothers to a 35-14 victory over MUS in the latest edition of Tennessee’s oldest high school rivalry.

Kayden Conley, MASE: The Phoenix appear to have a keeper in Conley. The freshman completed 9 of 11 passes for 215 yards and three touchdowns as MASE stayed perfect in Region 8-2A play with a 54-0 victory over Memphis Business Academy.

Octavius Flynn, Briarcrest: Flynn accounted for all four touchdowns as the Saints bounced back from their first defeat of the season with a mightily impressive 28-22 victory over Lipscomb Academy. The junior rushed for 110 yards on 16 carries with three scores (22, 13, 4) and also caught a 10-yard touchdown from Cayden Dixon.

Cash Thompson, Lausanne: Another promising ninth-grade quarterback, Thompson’s first career start was a good one. He completed 11 of 14 passes for 243 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions as the Lynx improved to 5-3 overall and 3-0 in D2-AA region play with a 63-35 victory over St. George’s.

Brooks Wright, Central: The Warriors also bounced back from their first loss of the season in impressive fashion, beating region rival Kingsbury, 58-6. Wright was on point from the opening whistle; the junior completed 14 of 18 passes for 301 yards and five touchdowns.
