Arlington lowers property tax rate, may consider further drop

Arlington officials have worked in recent weeks to lower the town’s proposed property tax rate, but for some aldermen, it’s still not enough.

The Board of Mayor and Aldermen on Monday, June 2, approved first readings of the town’s 2025-26 fiscal budget along with a property tax rate of $1.13 per $100 of assessed value.
