Arlington raises solid waste rate, eyes wastewater treatment facility expansion

Arlington residents will pay about $2 more a month for sanitation service under an annual adjustment with Waste Pro approved by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen on Tuesday, Sept. 8.
Meanwhile, the town also took the next major step in the expansion of its sewer system, which it hopes to get underway by early next year.
