Bartlett rejects special use permit for cigar lounge
“We give them the special use permit and then they turn around and sell, and somebody else sells again,” said Bartlett Mayor Keith McDonald about the proposed cigar bar. “We don’t know who those people are or whether they would be as restrained in what they would bring in because of that special use permit.” (Daily Memphian file)
The Bartlett Board of Mayor and Aldermen rejected Sticks X Stones’ request in a 4 to 2 vote Tuesday evening.
