Bartlett’s social media posts injected with ‘Todd factor’

Armed with his selfie stick, Todd Halford is often seen on social media in various parts of Bartlett touting a restaurant opening, a new development or important community events.

Halford, the suburb’s chief communications officer, has been fine-tuning his social media game since 2009 when then-Lt. Jeff Cox — now the chief of police — encouraged him to start a Facebook page for the Bartlett Police Department.

“Nobody was doing it back then,” Halford recalled.
