Carriage Crossing owners are showcasing potential new tenants Saturday as part if its “Pop Local” contest.

It’s the first time in Collierville Schools history for one of its schools to receive the honor.

As part of the payment-in-lieu of taxes application, Campbell Clinic plans to retain 48 jobs and add 22 new jobs. Those positions have a $53,000 annual median wage, but an average wage of $112,732.

“The Collierville Balloon Festival is important for the entire Mid-South community,” said festival president Susan Ewing. “It is a great event to help with the economic impact in Collierville as well as the entire Mid-South.” 

Both victims in a weekend homicide in Collierville were separated from their spouses at the time of the incident.

Collierville leaders consider allowing Collierville Arts Council to sell beer and wine at The Harrell Performing Arts Theatre productions. “I think this would completely change the arts experience at the Harrell Theatre,” said the council chairman.

A suspect was arrested in Texas after a homicide in Collierville on Saturday.

The Farms at Bailey Station, which hired the former executive chef at Limelight, operatives five eateries that they plan to eventually open to the general public.

Collierville purchased speed cushions Monday evening. The traffic calming measure will be piloted near two elementary schools.

Collierville Schools Superintendent Gary Lilly will leave the suburban district effective Dec. 31, to become the executive director of Tennessee Organization of School Superintendents (TOSS)

Collierville’s Board of Mayor and Aldermen unanimously approved public pickleball courts for Suggs Park.

The products being sold are charcuterie boards, “lunchables,” doughnuts and a variety of other sweet and savory items.

The collaboration is a new joint effort between the three districts to engage with industries and create opportunities for students.

Cindy Krag Gourmet To Go was created to give customers a pick-up option instead of catering. Customers can bring in their own trays to have the food placed on and garnished by the staff.

If the new site is approved, the existing Chick-fil-A site would be demolished.

Campbell Clinic staff at the Germantown office had concerns about Larry Pickens six days prior to a shooting at the practice’s Collierville location.

According to the Collierville Police Department affidavit, released Thursday, a nurse practitioner identified the alleged shooter as Pickens based on his previous appointments at the clinic.

“To see a guy in the peak of his career be taken out like that is so tragic,” said Dr. Dan Fletcher, one of nine orthopedic hand surgeons in the city and a longtime colleague to Dr. Ben Mauck.
