The design for a Memphis-area UT Martin site started as a school project. Now, it’s becoming reality.

When LRK and Rachel Helton, a company associate, began working on plans for Wildwood Farm in Germantown, it was almost like grad school specifically prepared her for this project.

The design for the University of Tennessee’s Martin’s facility in Germantown for expanded equestrian offerings was approved Tuesday, Aug. 26, by the suburb’s Design Review Commission. The school will utilize about 2 acres of Wildwood Farm — the 350-acre tract on the west side of Germantown Road between Stout and Crestridge roads. 

Helton already had a deep knowledge of the property.
