Linda Fisher is stepping down from the Germantown Board of Education after seven years. Fisher is the last original member on the suburban district’s board.

Mayor Mike Palazzolo has announced he will seek reelection in 2022. Palazzolo has served as mayor of Germantown since 2014.

The annual call for Germantown citizens to apply for boards and commissions this year included a personal invitation from Mayor Mike Palazzolo to a select few residents.

The planned unit development has not been submitted to the city yet. Developer Spence Ray showed the plans to neighbors who are receptive to the project.

Germantown will look at two subdivisions totaling 90 homes Monday. Aldermen will also review a payment of more than $18,000 for the contested results of the 2018 mayoral election.
