Plans for Darana-Memphis Motorsports Park stalled until next year

The International Hot Rod Association’s $60 million transformation of the former Memphis International Raceway, now called the Darana-Memphis Motorsports Park, is on hold until 2027. 

Late last year the IHRA bought the raceway with plans to renovate the blighted property at 5500 Victory Lane in unincorporated Shelby County and reopen by this fall.
