Drew Hill
Drew Hill covers the Memphis Grizzlies and is a top-10 APSE winner. He has worked throughout the South writing about college athletics before landing in Memphis.
When Denise Linebarier saw the email pop up in her inbox, she thought it was a scam. There was no way the actual 901 FC was trying to get her attention.
But after an investigation and some help from her daughter, Elle Lawhead, it was determined this message was no dupe.
Memphis’ professional soccer team had heard their family’s story, and they wanted in.
