Elon Musk’s xAI plans to turn on the supercomputer on Aug. 15.

A source close to the Musk-founded artificial intelligence company, who is not authorized to speak publicly, said xAI has received all 100,000 H100 Nvidia chips for the supercomputer.

The chips still must be installed into racks and placed in four data halls, which are areas within the supercomputer that contain servers and other equipment.
