Silverfield and Norvell are two friends who will be foes for one day

Memphis coach Ryan Silverfield and FSU coach Mike Norvell will meet for the first time since working on the same staff when Norvell coached the Tigers from 2016 to 2019.

He covered high school sports in Columbus, Indiana for two years before getting his Master’s degree in Sports Journalism at IUPUI. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in journalism from Indiana University.
