The City of Bartlett honored those who have served and sacrificed to protect our country on Monday, Nov. 11, with its annual Veterans Day recognition.
More than 200 people enjoyed beautiful fall weather as the city hosted its ceremony at the A. Keith McDonald Pavilion at W.J. Freeman Park, one of several such events in various parts of the area in recent days.
The day’s featured speaker was Lt. Col. Cecil Brunson, U.S. Air Force F-14 Phantom fighter pilot and member of the Tennessee National Guard. He shared his experience as a POW during the Vietnam War.
