Germantown aldermen submitted three picks before choosing school board member

Germantown leaders didn’t discuss school board interviews before appointing Scotty Hendricks, but they did share their top choices with the city administration.
Aldermen noted each of the seven residents interviewed were qualified to serve. But their charge was doing what they considered best for Germantown.
In this case, that’s Germantown Municipal School District. Monday they unanimously chose Scotty Hendricks Jr.
