The Hy-Vee supermarket chain’s initial push into the Memphis market via Bartlett is on hold, store officials confirmed on Monday, Feb. 10.
After plans were announced in 2023 for a new Hy-Vee on the northeast corner of Old Brunswick and New Brunswick roads, a 25-acre master plan was approved by the city late that year.
Since then the land has undergone environmental review, and more recently Hy-Vee submitted a site plan to the city to get a sense of infrastructure costs, according to Mayor David Parsons.
