Germantown to have large bookstore after 14 years without one

After Borders closed nationwide in 2011, Germantown didn’t have a large bookstore. That will change with a national brand opening a new chapter.
Barnes & Noble has signed a lease for a nearly 12,000-square-foot space on Exeter Road inside Germantown Collection, between The Container Store and Gould’s Salon Spa. The bay was formerly occupied by NEST Decor, a furniture store based in Middle Tennessee.
