Olive Branch blocks Crumpler Place development

Olive Branch officials unanimously denied an amendment for multi-family housing on the south side of Goodman Road, between Crumpler Boulevard and U.S. 78 at a meeting on Tuesday, April 15.

The proposal drew opposition from nearby residents who said the development by Cory Brady, representing Crumpler Holdings LLC, and Magnolia Hospitality LLC, would hurt property values, increase traffic in the area and that the additional residents would put more pressure on DeSoto County Schools.
