A mother’s viral tweet sparked ill son’s special bond with Showboats player

“I put a tweet out on Twitter that went viral when he was placed on a ventilator,” Ashley Binkley said. “I started having a lot of followers on Twitter, kind of ... following his story.”

In November 2023 Ashley tweeted a picture of her son in a hospital bed with the words, “Landon’s been placed on a ventilator. Please pray and share with everyone to pray. I cannot lose my child. Please, please pray.”

Eric Garror, a Titans rookie at the time, found out about Landon’s situation through his agent and immediately felt compelled to reach out.
