Grisanti touch comes to Marshall Steakhouse

A new collaboration between a successful Mississippi restaurateur and Memphis Italian cuisine royalty may lure hungry masses down a rural interstate to queue up for steak and pasta.

At least that’s the hope of Randall Swaney, who forged award-winning Marshall Steakhouse from a double-storied metal shed 1.5 miles outside of Holly Springs, Mississippi, and Judd Grisanti, part of a family of Italian chefs that cemented its food legacy in the Bluff City decades ago.

On Mondays and Tuesdays starting May 19, Swaney will feature Grisanti’s dishes in the rustic, fine-dining establishment at 2378 Highway 178 West. The chef himself will be cooking.
