Bartlett gets closer to property tax increase

Bartlett officials are moving closer to adopting a property tax rate 35 cents over the certified rate to cover the rising cost of running the city while attracting and retaining top employees.
The Bartlett Board of Mayor and Aldermen on Tuesday, May 27, passed the second of three required readings for the 2025-26 annual budget and property tax rate. A public hearing, along with the third and final reading, will be held on June 10.
