Methodist laid off about 1% of its workforce. Now, a new partnership will try to turn the tide.

As Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare continues its cost-cutting measures, it has signed on an Ohio-based financial management company to help right the ship.

Cincinnati, Ohio-based Ensemble Health Partners, a national “revenue cycle management” company, announced its partnership with Methodist earlier this month. 

The announcement coincided with Methodist laying off 161 employees, or about 1% of its 12,000-person workforce, as part of a “systemwide realignment.”
