In a ‘defining game,’ Houston puts seven goals past Briarcrest

Wednesday’s match between Houston and Briarcrest was by no means indicative of the historic ferocity that characterizes the girls soccer rivalry between the two schools.
It was, however, indicative of the kind of team the Mustangs are turning into.
Seven different players scored goals as Houston downed the Saints, 7-0, in the match played at Houston Middle School. Last season’s Class AAA state champions improve to 6-3-2 on the year, thanks to a performance that coach David Wolff loved everything about.
