McDonald’s considers another Collierville location as former restaurant remains vacant

While McDonald’s considers a new spot in Collierville, the convenience food chain’s original location on Poplar Avenue in town remains closed and vacant.
As it has for the past eight years.
But property rights and a McDonald’s policy limit the potential uses of the former business on Poplar Avenue between Byhalia Road and U.S. 72. The corporation’s maintenance of the vacant property also keeps town officials from complaining about the empty building.
