American commissioner hopeful College GameDay can visit Memphis

BIRMINGHAM, Alabama — The No. 22 Memphis Tigers and No. 19 South Florida Bulls appear to be headed toward a Top 25 matchup worthy of a destination for ESPN’s College GameDay later this month.

If, that is, both take care of business this Saturday.

Monday’s announcement of an 11 a.m. kickoff on ESPN or ESPN2 isn’t the most opportune time slot for a GameDay showing, though.
