On a recent Saturday in Memphis, brothers Davin and Kellan Bartosch were watching the Great American Beer Festival livestream from Colorado, hearts racing as their beers went head-to-head with brews from across the country.
When Sky Dog Amber was awarded Gold in the International Amber Lager category and Tiny Bomb picked up Silver in the German-style Pilsener category, the cheers — though digital — echoed all the way back to Wiseacre Brewing Co.’s original location on Broad Avenue.
