A Fitting Place was born out of a need for post-mastectomy bras for breast cancer survivors, but over its 51 years, the shop has grown to support the needs of women seeking the right fit.
Janet Scheuner, 56, and Belinda Durham, 67, own the shop in Regalia Shopping Center at 6150 Poplar Ave., which had its grand reopening for its newly remodeled store on Thursday, Oct. 23, fittingly during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
A Fitting Place is a staple for many women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer, as they struggle to find customized post-mastectomy bras.
