With new owner, Collierville’s Cafe Piazza celebrates 20 years

By , Daily Memphian Published: October 26, 2025 4:00 AM CT

Ray Ferro had just one meal at Cafe Piazza before deciding to purchase the restaurant.

That was in July. By Aug. 1, he was the new owner, quieting rumors the restaurant just off the southeastern corner of Collierville Town Square was closing. Renovations during the summer were expected to last two weeks but instead took two months.

The restaurant is back open for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. Except for a change in exterior and interior paint colors, the converted house at 139 S. Rowlett St. remains the same.
