Memphis defensive lineman on rivalry game against Tulane: ‘We’ve got to leave our mark’

Memphis senior defensive lineman William Whitlow Jr. got his first taste of the Tigers’ rivalry with Tulane during his redshirt freshman season in 2022.

A few Green Wave fans ran on the field that year during a road game against Tulane in New Orleans, and it didn’t sit well with Whitlow.

“I was like, ‘Aw, they trying to lil’ boy us or something,’” Whitlow said. “Nah, I don’t like that.”
