Charlie’s Meat Market’s temporary closure could turn permanent

When Charlie’s Meat Market on Summer Avenue quietly closed this fall, longtime customers were left wondering what had happened.

Owner Charles “Chuck” Hogan said he temporarily closed the shop, more recently known as Triangle Meat Market, due to a combination of financial hardship, inflation and increased competition. Those factors are also threatening to close the business for good.
