New THC laws will reshape how Tennessee eats, drinks and gets high

On Jan. 1, Tennesseans who are used to ordering THC drinks or gummies online — or even having them delivered via DoorDash — will see those options disappear.

The change is part of a sweeping update to the state’s hemp-derived cannabinoid laws, one that tightens how products move through Tennessee and where consumers can legally buy them.
