Collierville hospital doubles ICU beds, plans to grow ER next

Baptist Memorial Hospital-Collierville has doubled its number of intensive care unit beds, adding capacity and allowing the emergency room to expand.

Patients were moved to the new space on Wednesday, Jan. 21.

The utilization rate of the ICU and the growth of the town contributed to the push for the expanded ICU, Lindsay Stencel, Baptist Collierville’s CEO, said.
