Dunavant ‘honored and incredibly humbled’ on election to St. Louis Fed board

A sixth-generation Memphian and CEO and president of a 95-year-old family company, Bill Dunavant knows the Bluff City well.
So when he found out this month he was elected to serve on the St. Louis Federal Reserve’s Board of Directors, Dunavant said he was “honored and incredibly humbled” for the opportunity.
“I’m really excited to learn, because the two things I will tell you: I never tire of learning ... (and) I really have appreciated the opportunity in my life to be around people smarter than myself because I get to learn from them,” Dunavant said.
