For today’s high school seniors, the college-application process looks almost nothing like it did a decade ago.
What was once defined by paper forms, test scores and a handful of carefully chosen schools has become a digital, often unpredictable system — one shaped by shifting admissions policies, rising costs and a growing emphasis on strategy.
Across Memphis, college counselors in both private and public schools say the changes are significant. However, they’re also creating new opportunities for students willing to adapt.
