Collierville envisions its future

By , Daily Memphian Updated: May 18, 2026 7:22 AM CT | Published: May 18, 2026 4:00 AM CT

Collierville engaged residents last week to further understand their desires for the town’s future, many saying they favor growth — whether moderate or significant.

Freese and Nichols, the consulting firm Collierville is using to develop its 25-year comprehensive plan, hosted collaborative drop-in sessions at Carriage Crossing. There will be a few more sessions this summer for those who want to provide input.

The opportunities, called design charrettes, consider land use, economic development, transportation and special areas like Carriage Crossing and Town Square. Residents could share their thoughts with sticky notes on poster boards. The week concluded with a presentation at Town Hall on Thursday evening, May 14.
