The Collierville Board of Mayor and Aldermen is set for a key budget hearing with a flat tax rate and higher service fees. (Patrick Lantrip/The Daily Memphian file)
Collierville’s Board of Mayor and Aldermen will hold the second of three required readings related to its flat tax rate on Tuesday, May 26, and provide an opportunity for public feedback on the budget.
The board typically meets the second and fourth Mondays of the month but moved this meeting to Tuesday due to the Memorial Day holiday. If the tax rate passes on Tuesday, the board will consider the budget resolution and final tax rate reading at its June 8 meeting.
