Bartlett passes mayor’s pay increase, property tax rate and budget

Bartlett residents’ property tax rate will remain the same for the next fiscal year.
The suburb’s Board of Mayor and Aldermen on Tuesday, June 9, approved third and final readings for a $189.2 million budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1 along with a property tax rate of $1.66 per $100 of assessed value.
The budget includes roughly $73.6 million in revenue and expenditures along with the $115.5 million operating budget for Bartlett City Schools.
