Visible Music College building bought

A pair of developers have bought a Downtown property of architectural significance, adding to their collection of properties in one of the city’s oldest neighborhoods.
Nick Patel and John Halford, operating as TCH Kodak, bought the former Visible Music College building at 200 Madison Ave. for $2.7 million.
Designed by Memphis architect Francis Gassner, the angular concrete, metal and glass building began as the headquarters for Commercial & Industrial Bank. It was featured on the cover of Architecture Record magazine in May 1972.
