Memphis’ outlook in American has improved since preseason forecast

The Memphis Tigers are a third of the way through their 2026 football schedule and have concluded their nonconference portion with a 3-1 record.
Memphis started the year with a road win at UNLV, then beat Arkansas State at home and lost at Boise State. Last Saturday’s 45-21 win over UT Martin was a solid bounce-back game.
