Software tracks patients’ data between office visits, takes health care to ‘next level’
Dr. Kashif Latif, endocrinologist at AM Diabetes and Endocrinology Center in Bartlett, has partnered with MiCare Path to offer remote patient monitoring technology to his patients. “The remote monitoring allows us to monitor patients’ physiologic parameter, be it blood pressure, heart rate, blood glucose, weight, etc. on a real-time basis,” he said. Methodist Medical Group began using remote patient monitoring software during the COVID-19 pandemic to monitor patients who had been discharged from the hospital or emergency room.
