Dave’s Hot Chicken plans to open in Poplar Plaza

Dave’s Hot Chicken is leasing space at one of the city’s busiest intersections and plans to open by year’s end.
The Pasadena, California-based hot-chicken franchise will lease part of the former Spin Street space in the Poplar Plaza Shopping Center.
The franchisees signed a lease with the plaza’s owner, Finard Properties, for the 2,548-square-foot space at 3484 Poplar Ave. after looking at Memphis sites for the past eight months.
