Every day Amelia Gene’s is open, Executive Chef Nate Henssler, Executive Sous Chef Jonathan Lazo and a small handful of line cooks arrive an hour earlier than the rest of the team.
And they do so to cook a meal for their coworkers.
Anyone who has ever worked in a well-run restaurant will tell you the team feels like a family.
