When the Food Network first called Uncle Lou’s Fried Chicken back in 2008, everything changed.
Guy Fieri’s hit show “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” spotlighted the now-famous Memphis chicken joint, and owner Lou Martin quickly saw his life and business go national.
“Guy put us on the map,” Martin said recently. “Especially in the summer, we get people from all over, not just the U.S. We’ve had folks come from Australia. Tour buses pull up. It’s been long-lasting.”
