New MLGW substation to power growth in Collierville

Memphis Light, Gas and Water celebrated its part in powering Collierville’s growth with a new substation in the southeast portion of the town Tuesday afternoon.
MLGW, Germantown and Collierville officials held a ribbon-cutting on Quinn Road near U.S. 72 at the substation’s site, which will help safely and efficiently transfer power to the utility company’s customers.
