Shelby County Election Commission certifies Collierville runoff
The Shelby County Election Commission on Friday certified the results of Collierville’s municipal runoff, clearing the way for Nick Robbins to take his oath as the town’s next alderman.
In the runoff this past Tuesday, there were 2,593 ballots cast. Four were write-ins. No provisional ballots were cast, so there were no changes to the unofficial results posted on the day of the runoff.
With fewer than 2,600 votes in the race, Robbins, who owns a custom-renovations business, defeated Chad Lindsay, vice president of Alston Construction’s Collierville office. Robbins earned 63% of the ballots cast.
