Barksdale brings back all-day breakfast after one-man protest

In an era of online petitions and viral hashtags, sometimes all it takes to spark change is one guy with a sign and a craving for pancakes at 1 p.m.
That’s exactly what happened outside Barksdale, the Midtown diner that reopened in April with new owners after a fire last summer and a $500,000 renovation.
