Barksdale brings back all-day breakfast after one-man protest
The most important addition is already here: omelets and pancakes all day long. (The Daily Memphian file)
In an era of online petitions and viral hashtags, sometimes all it takes to spark change is one guy with a sign and a craving for pancakes at 1 p.m.
That’s exactly what happened outside Barksdale, the Midtown diner that reopened in April with new owners after a fire last summer and a $500,000 renovation.
The restaurant’s updated space was fresh and the coffee was hot, but at least according to one diner, something was missing: all-day breakfast.
