Prep football 2025: Challenging schedule will test Lausanne early and often

As if he needed any reminders of what awaits his team in 2025, Lausanne football coach Kevin Locastro has his schedule written on a whiteboard in his office.
The gauntlet begins in Week 1 as the Lynx host a talented Southwind team led by two-time all-state quarterback Kelvin Perkins, who won Tennessee Mr. Football in 2023 and was a runner-up last year. Two weeks after that, Lausanne visits CBHS, where Locastro spent 15 mostly successful seasons, in the first meeting between the schools.
