Top-ranked Germantown wins nail-biter against Lausanne

The winning coach was a bit frustrated. The losing coach was all smiles. The fans? They were wrung out like old dishrags and possibly wondering what happened to their fingernails.
It was that kind of a night at Rhodes College.
Larry Johnson capped a 75-yard drive with a 13-yard touchdown run with 29 seconds left as Germantown — the top-ranked team in the Daily Memphian Dandy Dozen — remained undefeated with a pulsating 40-35 victory over seventh-ranked Lausanne.
