CBHS standout Will Brick is in a ‘win-win’ situation

As they have been all season long, the Major League Baseball scouts were lined up along the first base line Thursday, March 26, as Christian Brothers High School hosted St. George’s. And as he has all season long, Will Brick gave them plenty to put in their notebooks.
The half-dozen or so talent-hunters in attendance at Giacosa Field were undoubtedly impressed when Brick — the Brothers’ senior catcher — sprang out of his crouch like a ninja to field a bunt down the third-base line before making a laser throw to his first baseman for the out. They will have liked the way Brick barreled up to the ball in his first three at-bats, plate appearances that yielded a single and two doubles, the second of which almost left the yard.
